I can tell from your article that you’re an exceptional manager—ambitious, forward-thinking, and empathetic!

I believe what people learn is ultimately shaped by the goals they’re pursuing. Even when faced with the exact same experience, someone pursuing goal A will take away lessons related to A, while someone pursuing goal B will learn something entirely different.

A leader acts as a powerful filter, and their leadership style shapes the entire team. A leader with vision, strategic thinking, and the courage to make bold decisions is the foundation of a successful team.

Thank you, your kindness words means a lot to me, and it motivates me to keep sharing. I also love how you put this — “what people learn is ultimately shaped by the goals they’re pursuing”

Management taught me so many lessons. I chose to write about how big to bet because it fundamentally reshaped how I think and make decisions, and yet I rarely see people talk about it. I also find that my own goals change at different times, and what I take away changes with them.

Someone focused on growing people might come away proudest of a teammate’s promotion. Someone chasing technical excellence might learn that quality becomes a team standard rather than a personal one. Someone looking for stability might discover the role is less secure than it looked from below.
